The traditional approaches to project management training have evolved around classroom based training, with some e-learning or blended learning. However we are seeing an emergence of new approach to project management training which used new modern technology in an integrated way to provide much more flexibility to the learner. These new learning technologies include: Print on Demand Publishing With modern print on demand publishing every company can have it own version of a project management training book. Gone are the days when you needed to print thousands of books to make the print run viable. Today a run of 20 or thirty books is economic. This means that every course and every customer can publish a book specific to its own training need. Podcasting Making radio programmes used to be the preserve of highly expensive broadcasting companies and maybe organisations like the Open University. Today podcasting is easy, cheap and you can be broadcasting to the world at the click of a mouse. It represents a fantastic way to learn especially when combined with a printed book. e-learning Several very powerful rapid e-learning tools are available which can very quickly generate high quality on-line training courses. Webinars Remote classrooms using webinars mean that the world experts can communicate one-to-one with you from the comfort of you own home. Linked with a published study guide, podcasts and e-learning these webinars give real flexibility to the learning style. Parallel Project Training is embracing all these new technologies to introduce a new and vibrant approach to project management development.By: Paul NaybourArticle Directory: http://www.articledashboard.comwww.parallelprojecttraining.com Permalink:
